Hello, I've found that the risk of cardiovascular and bone health problems after menopause is little known or understood. If you're a post-menopausal woman, either naturally or from surgery, or if you have a post-menopausal close friend, spouse, or family member, this is important information. Your doctor may incorrectly tell you that post-menopausal hormones are "not a problem." Many won't even test. A lack of hormones due to menopause can create a risk for high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, heart disease, and bone disease. Often, I've seen women upset and shocked at how, after a lifetime of good health, they suddenly developed high cholesterol or blood pressure. This is why it's called "the change" because everything changes! Resolving hormone issues, reducing risk, and living a long, healthy, and happy life is not complicated! Patient Stories No More Hot Flashes..What A Surprise!! I went to my regular medical doctor and he asked, you're having hot flashes?, I said, no. He asked if I'm on the patch or hormones and I said no. Then he called to the nurse and told her that I'm not on the patch or hormones and still not having hot flashes. I have been telling him about coming to Alternative Health Atlanta, and he said he didn't really know much about that type of therapy.
