Bodies heal themselves by "remodeling" the cellular structure of the damaged area. Recall the last time you skinned your elbow? The damaged tissue fell off, and your body replaced it with a brand-new pink remodeled elbow. This is how your body heals internally as well. It replaces enough of the damaged cells that are causing the body to malfunction until function and health are restored.
